Job summary

Bright Horizons Kings Hill nursery is seeking a Third in Charge to lead, mentor and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and education. You will promote child welfare, health and safety, safeguarding and build strong partnerships with colleagues, parents and professionals.

The role includes acting as Designated Safeguarding Lead when required, supporting occupancy growth, and engaging with Local Authority to understand local offerings and practice across all areas.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Experience in Early Years setting, ideally as Third in Charge or Room Leader.
• Confident decision maker with leadership experience.
• Understanding Safeguarding and Child Protection requirements.
• Ability to build trust with colleagues and parents.
• Strong communication with children and adults.
