Job summary

Bright Horizons Milford is seeking a Third in Charge to lead, mentor, and inspire a team delivering high-quality care and education.

You will promote child welfare, health and safety, safeguarding, and build strong partnerships with colleagues and parents.

You may act as Designated Safeguarding Lead and work with the Local Authority to support occupancy growth and practice across the nursery.

Qualifications

• Level 3+ Early Years qualification or higher required.
• Experience in an Early Years setting, ideally as Third in Charge or similar.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and ability to implement safeguarding procedures.
• Ability to mentor and lead a team and develop partnerships with parents and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, support, and inspire a team to deliver high-quality care and education.
• Promote child welfare, health and safety, and safeguarding; maintain partnerships with colleagues, parents, and professionals.
• Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead when required; engage with Local Authority to support nursery practice and occupancy growth.
