Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Senior Nuclear Safety Consultant to lead safety case development for high-profile nuclear projects in the UK, spanning decommissioning, energy, defence and new-builds.

You will produce technical reports, conduct hazard analyses, and guide work packages with senior and junior colleagues across Warrington, West Cumbria and Basingstoke, in a hybrid or remote setup.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline with substantial nuclear safety case development experience.
• Knowledge of nuclear plant operations and regulatory frameworks is beneficial.
• Chartered status with a recognised professional body is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety case development and ensure regulatory compliance across projects.
• Produce and review technical documentation, hazard identifications and risk assessments.
• Manage projects with defined budgets and timescales, liaising with clients and regulators.
