Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Senior Nuclear Safety Consultant to lead safety case development for complex nuclear projects in the UK. You will produce technical documentation, perform hazard identifications, and manage risk assessments while ensuring regulatory compliance across decommissioning, energy, and defence programs.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or scientific discipline.
• Substantial experience in nuclear safety case development or assessment.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and safety management principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety case development and oversee reviews to meet regulatory standards.
• Produce and review technical documentation and safety case reports.
• Conduct hazard identification and risk assessments for projects.
• Prepare proposals and support tender submissions; oversee project financial reporting.
• Lead smaller projects independently and mentor junior colleagues.
