Job summary

WSP UK & Ireland is seeking talented professionals to join our Environmental Permitting & Nuclear Regulation team at Senior or Principal Consultant level. You will contribute to nationally significant nuclear projects, supporting safe, secure, and low-carbon growth across the UK.

You will engage with regulators, developers and operators, delivering permitting, licensing and environmental assessments while mentoring colleagues and expanding your specialist expertise within a collaborative, global

Qualifications

• Experience in nuclear regulation, licensing, radiological protection, or environmental management.
• Ability to deliver complex regulatory projects on time with high quality.
• Strong communication with regulators, clients and multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Support nationally significant nuclear projects through permitting, licensing and compliance.
• Develop Environmental Cases and apply Best Available Techniques for nuclear operators.
• Advise reactors, developers and licensees on regulatory requirements and timely approvals.
• Contribute to safe, sustainable operation and decommissioning support across projects.
