Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking Senior/Principal Consultants to join our Environmental Permitting, Compliance & Nuclear Regulation team. You will prepare Environmental Permit applications, support risk assessments, and contribute to complex regulatory projects across energy, waste, industrial and utilities sectors.

Based in the UK with hybrid working and occasional travel, you will collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, deliver high-quality outputs, and help clients navigate

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Environmental Permitting Regulations and related legislation.
• Experience preparing Environmental Permit applications and supporting technical assessments.
• Knowledge of sectors such as energy, waste, industrial, manufacturing or utilities.
• Experience undertaking qualitative and/or quantitative environmental risk assessments.
• Ability to manage own workload and deliver high-quality outputs on time.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain technical info clearly.
• A collaborative approach within multidisciplinary teams.
