Job summary

WSP, a leading engineering and professional services firm, invites experienced regulatory professionals to join its Environmental Permitting & Nuclear Regulation team in the UK. The role covers high-profile nuclear programs, regulatory navigation, licensing, and environmental case development across multi-disciplinary teams.

Based in or working across UK offices with hybrid working and travel within the UK, you will mentor colleagues, develop your Chartership, and help deliver safe, sustainable

Qualifications

• Experience in regulation, licensing, radiological protection, or environmental management within the nuclear sector.
• Ability to develop and review environmental cases and BAT/ALARP studies is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to deliver to tight timelines in multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Advise on navigating UK nuclear regulatory requirements for clients and licences.
• Deliver permitting, licensing and consenting of nuclear projects with proportionate governance.
• Develop environmental cases and demonstrate Best Available Techniques for operators.
• Support clients to comply with permits and safety, security and sustainability standards.
