Job summary

WSP is seeking talented individuals for roles in Environmental Permitting, Compliance & Nuclear Regulation at Senior Consultant and Principal Consultant levels. You will support permitting and compliance projects across energy, waste, industrial, manufacturing and utilities sectors.

You will prepare permit applications, assess risks, and work within multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes, with flexibility to work across UK offices and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Environmental Permitting Regulations and related environmental legislation.
• Experience preparing Environmental Permit applications and supporting technical assessments.
• Knowledge of regulated sectors such as energy, waste, industrial, manufacturing or utilities.
• Experience undertaking qualitative and/or quantitative environmental risk assessments.
• Ability to manage workload and deliver high-quality outputs to agreed timescales.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain technical information clearly.
• Collaborative approach and ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
