Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a Major Programme Technical Delivery Lead to drive mobilisation and delivery of large-scale nuclear programmes. You will orchestrate cross-disciplinary teams, translate client strategy into safe, assured outcomes, and lead governance and performance improvements across the lifecycle.

The role emphasizes leadership across engineering, design, and procurement with a focus on integration, assurance and delivering predictable outcomes in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading technical delivery in major programmes within highly regulated environments.
• Track record across strategy, optioneering, business case, design, procurement, construction and handover.
• Credibility with senior clients and stakeholders, ability to shape solutions and foster trusted relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead mobilisation of opportunities from pursuit through to delivery.
• Act as Technical Delivery Lead or equivalent senior delivery leader on major assignments.
• Build and lead multidisciplinary teams across engineering, design, commercial, project controls, procurement, construction, environmental and assurance.
• Establish governance, technical assurance and decision-making frameworks for highly regulated environments.
• Manage complex technical and organisational interfaces across clients, partners, disciplines and supply chains.
• Create collaborative delivery cultures within alliancing, delivery partner and enterprise delivery models.
• Support major bids and strategic pursuits, embedding technical delivery considerations from the outset.
• Develop future technical delivery leaders through coaching and capability building.
• Mobilise expertise from across WSP's UK and global businesses to solve client challenges.
