Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead a flagship hyperscale data centre project, with potential for 100% country-based or significant Nordic travel. You will guide pre-construction, construction and close-out phases, ensuring schedule, budget and governance alignment across client and design teams.

You will manage a large project team, drive HSE excellence, and coordinate Owner’s Representatives to deliver complex, high-value infrastructure on time and to spec.

Qualifications

• In-depth understanding of large-scale technical projects and construction techniques.
• Contractual and commercial understanding of multiple forms of contract.
• Track record in delivery of large critical infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated knowledge of HSE in construction.
• Ability to manage technical disciplines.
• Experience of a client interface role.
• Experience of managing a large scale team.
• Experience on Data Centre new build/refurbishment projects, hyperscale preferred.
• Ability to coordinate Owner’s Representatives to meet client objectives.
• Willingness to commit to significant international travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of hyperscale data centre construction projects from pre-construction through close-out.
• Liaise with client and GC to establish Master Project Schedule and Budget.
• Procure and manage contractor-designed elements for final IFC.
• Conduct constructability reviews and support permit applications.
• Manage funding requests and IMS development.
• Oversee HSE culture and on-site vendor management.
• Coordinate project controls, QCx teams, and schedule tracking.
• Support contract negotiations and client-side commercial activities.
