Job summary

Arcadis, a world-leading design, engineering and consultancy firm, seeks an experienced Project Director to lead one of its largest data centre construction projects in the Nordics. The role is based in the UK with potential significant international travel (11/3 rotation), delivering across pre-construction, construction and close-out phases.

You will manage all stages, drive IMS development, coordinate with clients and contractors, and ensure delivery on time and within budget.

Qualifications

Experience with large-scale technical projects and construction techniques.
Strong understanding of contracts and commercial terms across multiple contract forms.
Proven track record delivering large critical infrastructure projects.
Demonstrated knowledge of health, safety and environment in construction.
Ability to manage multiple technical disciplines and interface with clients.
Experience leading large teams and coordinating with owner’s representatives.
Experience on hyperscale data centre builds or refurbishments is advantageous.
Willingness to commit to significant international travel.

Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of hyperscale data centre projects from pre-construction through close-out.
Manage master project schedule and budget with client and GC.
Oversee contractor design elements and constructability reviews.
Support permit applications and contract negotiations.
Coordinate owner-direct vendors and consultants and manage IMS development.
Ensure on-time delivery and budget adherence across the project phases.
Provide contractual support and liaise with client and commercial teams.
Coordinate value engineering and schedule tracking with client teams.
