Hyperscale Data Centre Program Director - Nordics

Job summary

Arcadis is recruiting for a role delivering tech sector mega-projects, with responsibility across pre-construction, construction and close-out for hyperscale data centre builds. The successful candidate may stay in-country or travel internationally on an 11/3 rotation to the Nordics.

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, manage schedules and budgets, coordinate vendor work, and ensure a robust HSE culture and timely, on-budget delivery across all project stages.

Qualifications

• An in-depth understanding of large-scale technical projects and construction techniques.
• Contractual and commercial understanding of multiple forms of contract.
• Track record in delivery of large critical infrastructure projects.
• Can demonstrate an in depth knowledge of HSE in construction.
• Ability to manage technical disciplines.
• Experience of a client interface role.
• Experience of managing a large scale team.
• Experience working on Data Centre new build and refurbishment projects, preferably on hyperscale builds.
• Ability to coordinate the work of other discipline specific Owner’s Representatives to achieve the objectives set by the client.
• Ability to commit to significant international travel.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with stakeholders to ensure delivery of the project.
• Create and establish Master Project Schedule and Budget with client and general contractor.
• Procuring and managing contractor designed elements for inclusion into IFC.
• Carry out constructability reviews during design phase.
• Support permits application for the project.
• Manage pre-qualification, bid solicitation, bid analysis and recommendations.
• Assist in contract negotiations.
• Identify and schedule Owner-direct vendors and consultants.
• Manage funding requests to facilitate construction.
• Develop the IMS.
• Manage and implement a robust HSE culture across the project.
• Coordinate with general contractors and vendors on site.
• Manage IMS for on-time delivery.
• Oversee project control functions and QCx teams.
• Provide contractual support and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Coordinate budget management and tracking with Client teams.
• Monitor schedules and provide analysis.
