Job summary

Arcadis is a world-leading design, engineering and consultancy firm seeking an experienced Project Director to lead a hyperscale data centre project in the Nordics. You will guide pre-construction, construction and close-out, coordinating stakeholders and maintaining schedule and budget.

The role involves significant international travel and in-country base options, with leadership of a large project team and a strong emphasis on HSE and value engineering.

Qualifications

• An in-depth understanding of large-scale technical projects and construction techniques.
• Contractual and commercial understanding of multiple forms of contract
• Track record in delivery of large critical infrastructure projects
• Can demonstrate an in depth knowledge of HSE in construction
• Ability to manage technical disciplines.
• Experience of a client interface role
• Experience of managing a large scale team
• Experience working on Data Centre new build and refurbishment projects, preferably on hyperscale builds, would be advantageous
• Ability to coordinate the work of other discipline specific Owner’s Representatives to achieve the objectives set by the client
• Ability to commit to significant international travel

Responsibilities

• Managing all stages of hyperscale data centre construction projects.
• Pre-construction: align stakeholders and establish Master Schedule & Budget.
• Construction: manage general contractors and IMS; monitor schedule and budget.
• Close-out: coordinate commissioning, warranties, and final documentation.
• Provide contractual and commercial support to the client.
