Job summary

National Highways in the UK is seeking a Senior Network Planner - Resilience to lead resilience, emergency and severe weather response planning from Bristol or Exeter, in a hybrid role. You will drive improvements, advise on incidents, manage funding opportunities, and coordinate with local authorities and resilience forums to minimise customer impact.

• Leadership in resilience planning and incident response.
• Strong stakeholder management and communications.
• Ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Proactively analyse and improve resilience and emergency response plans.
• Provide consultancy to minimise impact to Operations during emergencies.
• Develop best-practice methods to improve processes and activities.
• Coordinate with regional Operations and external stakeholders to minimise customer impact.
• Manage Network Resilience funding and identify schemes aligned to risk.
