Job summary

Vodafone Group Plc is seeking a senior telecoms engineer in the UK to take end-to-end ownership of Mobile Voice capabilities. You will lead IMS Core initiatives, including VoLTE/VoWiFi, across 2G–5G environments, collaborating with security, network, IT and vendor teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in mobile telecommunications.
• Strong expertise in IMS Core architecture and mobile voice technologies (VoLTE/VoWiFi) across 2G–5G.
• Experience designing, reviewing and governing complex telecom network solutions within large organisations.
• Comfortable working across cloud/virtualised environments including VMware, OpenStack and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end technical ownership of Mobile Voice capabilities, ensuring stability, resilience and scalability.
• Design and optimise voice network solutions to meet performance, quality and security standards.
• Provide technical leadership across IMS Core technologies (VoLTE, VoWiFi, 2G–5G).
• Support the development artefacts and ensure architectural consistency and excellence.
• Collaborate with security, network, IT, operations, commercial and vendor teams to deliver integrated solutions.
