Job summary

Vodafone Group Plc is seeking a Test Engineer for our UK Networks team in Newbury/Hybrid, delivering high-quality testing for 4G/5G services. You’ll lead test programmes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and maintain robust testing environments to ensure reliability for customers and business operations.

You will apply STLC methodologies, drive continuous improvements, and mentor fellow engineers while working in a flexible hybrid setup with 2–3 office days per week.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in telecom testing environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute test programmes across network and technology projects.
• Collaborate with design, operations, vendors and delivery partners to ensure quality.
• Develop and maintain robust test environments and automation.
• Identify and manage defects, issues, and risks with stakeholders.
• Apply STLC methodologies to technical programmes and projects.
• Improve test cases and procedures for efficiency and quality.
• Coach and mentor engineers to strengthen the testing capability.
