Job summary

Active Pathways Ltd in Droylsden is opening Willow Rise, a new residential rehabilitation service for mental health care. We’re seeking experienced Senior Support Workers to join the founding team and help deliver high-quality, person-centred care while leading a developing team.

You’ll play a key role in shaping the service from day one, supporting residents and building a values-driven culture with leadership opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

  • Experience working within a mental health or rehabilitation setting.
  • Experience supporting or leading others (or ready to step into a senior role)
  • Strong understanding of person-centred, recovery-focused care

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred mental health care
  • Lead shifts and support day-to-day running of the service
  • Supervise and mentor Support Workers, including induction and development
  • Support care planning, risk assessments, and clinical documentation
  • Promote recovery through meaningful activity, independence, and social inclusion
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Support a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment
  • Lead by example in brand-new service

NEW SERVICE OPENING IN NOVEMBER – Willow Rise
Assessment Centres to be held in Droylsden on 5th and 6th October
Senior Mental Health Support Worker (Days & Nights) Location: Droylsden, Manchester

Pay: £15.00 per hour (£16.50 overtime)

Hours: Full-Time – 38.5 Hours Per Week (8am-8pm & 8pm-8am, 2-week rolling rota)

Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

What You’ll Be Doing
  • As a Senior Support Worker, you’ll combine hands-on care delivery with leadership responsibilities, including:

  • Leading shifts and supporting the day-to-day running of the service
