Job summary

Active Pathways is opening Willow Rise, a new residential mental health rehabilitation service in Droylsden, near Manchester. We seek a proactive Service Administrator to join the founding team and help establish smooth operations from day one.

You will provide essential administrative and secretarial support, assist with HR processes and recruitment, coordinate meetings, payroll and leave records, manage purchases, and help implement digital systems across the service.

Qualifications

  • Prior administration experience in a busy environment.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong IT skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital systems.
  • Professional communication and relationship-building.
  • Discretion with confidential information.
  • Team player who can also work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality administrative and secretarial support across the service.
  • Support recruitment activities, including vacancy management, interview coordination, candidate communication and onboarding processes.
  • Assist with HR administration, maintaining databases, personnel records, audits and compliance documentation.
  • Coordinate meetings, MDTs, governance forums and minute-taking activities.
  • Support payroll, rota administration, annual leave records and reporting processes.
  • Manage purchase orders, invoices, petty cash and stock ordering activities.
  • Act as a welcoming first point of contact for colleagues, residents and external professionals.
  • Support implementation and development of digital systems and processes within the service.

Job description

To ensure consistency in our care delivery applicants must have the Right to Work in the UK for a minimum of 18 months from their agreed start date. Please note: We are unable to offer visa sponsorship at this time. Applications that do not meet these criteria will not be progressed further.

As we put the finishing touches to our exciting new Droylsden service, interviews for this role will be conducted at our central office in Chorley on Monday 28th September and Monday 5th October.

NEW SERVICE OPENING IN NOVEMBER - Willow Rise, Droylsden (Manchester)
Start Date Anticipated - 2nd November
Location: Droylsden, Manchester
Pay: £13.75 per hour (£15.25 per hour overtime)
Hours: Part-Time - 20 Hours Per Week

This November, we are proud to open Willow Rise, our brand-new residential mental health rehabilitation service in Droylsden.

We're looking for an organised, proactive, and people-focused Service Administrator to become a key member of our founding team. This is a unique opportunity to help establish a new service from the very beginning, supporting colleagues, residents, and managers while helping to create a culture of excellence from day one.

As the first point of contact for many people entering the service, you'll play a vital role in ensuring Willow Rise operates smoothly, professionally, and efficiently. Whilst others may be delivering care directly, you'll be the person helping everything behind the scenes run seamlessly.

What You’ll Be Doing
