Job summary

Kier Group in London is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor (MEPH) to join our Kier Mechanical & Electrical team on a major Life Science project. You will oversee commercial delivery, drive profitability and manage change across interfaces with project teams.

The role requires strong MEP knowledge, experience with main contract forms (JCT/NEC), procurement, cost reporting and risk management, and the ability to lead and develop commercial staff on complex schemes.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience as a surveyor on large projects.
• Clear understanding of main forms of contract (JCT, NEC).
• Technical understanding of MEPH services and interface packaging.
• Proactive, collaborative approach and ability to lead with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial resources to maximise gross margin.
• Undertake procurement activities including subcontract enquiries and orders.
• Value and measure change, and produce cost reports and forecasts.
• Manage risk and opportunity reporting and margin improvement plans.
• Lead and develop commercial staff and foster collaboration.
