Job summary

Kier Group in London is seeking a Quantity Surveyor (MEPH) to join Kier Mechanical & Electrical on a major Life Sciences project. You will manage commercial resources and oversee procurement, contracts and cost reporting.

The role offers full-time hours with some flexibility, a collaborative team environment, and opportunities to contribute to high-profile, complex projects across healthcare and science sectors.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or HND/HNC in QS.
• Understanding of main contract forms such as JCT/NEC; experience delivering projects.
• Knowledge of MEPH services, components and interfaces.
• Full driving licence and SMSTS/CSCS or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Managing commercial resources to maximise gross margin through contract placement and control.
• Undertaking procurement activities, subcontract administration, and valuation of project progress.
• Producing monthly cost reports, risk and opportunity management, and cashflow forecasts.
• Assessing and mitigating commercial and contractual risks while complying with Kier Group policies.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
