The Labour Group is recruiting a Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of major building services projects across Central London, including life sciences and data centres. This is a long-term contract with day rates of £500-£600 outside IR35.

You will lead subcontract procurement, CVRs, cost reporting and final accounts, while maintaining strong relationships with clients and project teams to maximise commercial performance.

Formación

• Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor with strong background in building services.
• Experience in commercial management of large M&E packages.
• Experience in life sciences, laboratories or data centres is preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Take commercial responsibility for substantial M&E packages.
• Manage subcontractor procurement, tender analysis and contract negotiations.
• Prepare and manage monthly Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs).
• Produce accurate cost reports, forecasts and financial updates.
• Manage subcontractor applications, valuations and payments.
• Identify, assess and negotiate variations and change orders.
• Monitor project budgets, cash flow and commercial performance.
• Manage contractual correspondence and commercial risks.
• Work with Project Managers to identify commercial opportunities.
• Prepare and negotiate client applications and valuations.
• Attend commercial meetings with clients and subcontractors.
• Support value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure accurate commercial records and project documentation.
