Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Quantity Surveyor (MEPH) to join Kier Mechanical & Electrical on a major Life Sciences project in London. You will manage commercial resources, procure subcontracts, and produce cost reports, with an emphasis on maximizing gross margin on complex, cross-disciplinary works.

The role requires a degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, knowledge of JCT/NEC contracts, and familiarity with MEPH services.

Qualifications

• Degree or HND/HNC in Quantity Surveying is required.
• Good understanding of JCT/NEC contracts for project delivery.
• Knowledge of MEPH services and interfaces is essential.
• Full driving licence; SMSTS/CSCS or willingness to obtain.
• Proactive problem solving with strong organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial resources to maximise planned gross margin.
• Undertake procurement, subcontract administration and progress valuation.
• Produce monthly cost reports, risk and opportunity management.
• Mitigate commercial and contractual risks per Kier policies.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers and stakeholders.

Skills

JCT and NEC contracts knowledge

MEPH services understanding

Full driving licence
