Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor (MEPH) to join its Mechanical & Electrical team on a healthcare project in Bedfordshire. The role is project-based with full-time hours on site, based in Bedfordshire.

Opportunity to work across custodial, commercial, health and science sectors while leading commercial resources and maximising profitability. The role requires experience in MEPH services, strong contract knowledge (JCT/NEC), and proven leadership of a commercial team.

Qualifications

• SMSTS/CSCS certification and a full driving licence are required.
• Experience delivering construction schemes across sectors with understanding of main contract forms (JCT, NEC).
• Strong organisational and proactive work style; ability to manage multiple tasks and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day commercial delivery for the project.
• Manage procurement, tender reviews and order production.
• Prepare monthly cost reports, commercial plans and client reports; forecast accurately.
• Lead and develop the commercial team and drive margin improvement.
• Value and measure change, manage risk and opportunities.
