Job summary

Royal Berkshire is overseeing the care group directorates to implement and manage departmental rotas for junior doctors, ensuring safe staffing and timely induction. The role includes planning ahead to pre-empt rota gaps and coordinating locum cover as needed.

You will log and monitor leave, ensure compliance with the 2016 junior doctor contract, and support in diary data and reporting tasks to enable efficient service delivery.

Qualifications

• GCSE or equivalent required.
• IT qualification or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the care groups with the implementation of departmental rotas according to directorate needs.
• Complete and update HealthRota/DRS5 and ensure rotas comply with the 2016 junior doctor contract.
• Ensure rotas comply with working time directives and the 2016 junior doctor contract.
• Support Educational supervisors in managing exception reporting.
• Assist in preparation, delivery and retrieval of diary cards and electronic diary data in a timely manner.
