Placements24 is seeking a Senior Mechanical Systems Engineer to design, validate, and integrate complex mechanical systems for advanced automation solutions. The role requires close collaboration with electrical and software teams to ensure seamless system integration and robust performance.

The ideal candidate has a Master's in Mechanical Engineering and 6–8 years of hands-on experience with CAD/FEA tools, mechatronics, and DFM/DFA principles.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 6–8 years' experience in mechanical design and integration.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks or Inventor and ANSYS or MATLAB/Simulink.
• Strong knowledge of mechatronics, robotics, automation, or control systems.
• Experience with material selection, manufacturing processes, and DFM/DFA.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience working in hybrid environments and remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate complex mechanical systems and sub-systems.
• Perform detailed engineering analysis (stress, thermal, vibration, kinematics).
• Create 3D models, 2D drawings, and BOMs.
• Collaborate with electrical, software, and control engineers for system integration.
• Define and execute mechanical testing and validation plans.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical issues across lifecycles.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Research and implement new technologies and design methodologies.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Manage tasks and progress in a hybrid work structure.
