Placements24 is seeking a Senior Mechanical Systems Engineer to design, validate, and integrate complex mechanical systems for advanced automation solutions. The role requires close collaboration with electrical and software teams to ensure seamless system integration and robust performance.

The ideal candidate has a Master's in Mechanical Engineering and 6–8 years of hands-on experience with CAD/FEA tools, mechatronics, and DFM/DFA principles.

• Proficiency with SolidWorks or Inventor and ANSYS or MATLAB/Simulink.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience working in hybrid environments and remote collaboration.

About the Role

Our client, a leader in advanced automation and control systems, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Systems Engineer to join their engineering department in Randburg, Gauteng. This pivotal role focuses on the design, integration, and validation of complex mechanical systems that form the core of our client's innovative solutions. You will be responsible for translating system-level requirements into detailed mechanical designs, ensuring seamless integration with electrical and software components. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of mechatronics, kinematics, and control systems, coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. This hybrid role offers the advantage of collaborating closely with teams on-site in Randburg while also providing flexibility for focused work remotely. Key Responsibilities

Requirements
