Our in-house MEP Engineering business, Crown House Technologies, is looking for an experienced mechanical project manager to join the team on Hinkley Point C, a nuclear power station currently under construction in Bridgwater, Somerset.

What is the role?

We are seeking an experienced mechanical project manager responsible for executing the delivery of mechanical packages, managing handover, and closing out the safety file for final handover. Crown House Technologies has been appointed for the M&E fit-out of the Operations Service Centre at Hinkley Point C, a nine-storey building housing support functions for the power station, including offices, medical centre, data centre, warehouse, workshops, labs, a canteen, and more. The building will accommodate around 350 workers and provide access control to the Nuclear and Conventional Islands.

What skills & experience are we looking for?

• Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent
• Ability to manage large-scale regulated projects
• Nuclear/regulatory environment experience (advantageous)
• Experience delivering large, highly regulated projects (£15m–£100m+)
• Ability to manage innovative methods, materials, and safe systems of work
• Practical application of engineering principles and calculations
• First degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or recognized technical/engineering qualification (NVQ level 4) with experience in design and construction delivery
• Establish and oversee engineering systems, documentation, and controls in compliance with H&S legislation and company standards
