The Opportunity
We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Senior Engineer with excellent design, technical, and sustainability skills who enjoys working collaboratively in multi–professional design teams, taking responsibility for projects from inception to completion to achieve outstanding results. You will demonstrate a solid background in Mechanical Engineering Systems for building services and a track record of multi–disciplinary design by integrating the best of Arup.
You will join our creative and friendly Building Engineering team, based in Cardiff or Bristol. Our team seeks to set new standards in the built environment, challenging orthodoxy and leading on digital innovation within the sector.
In this role, you will provide leadership to the MEP team on a portfolio of projects locally, nationally, and internationally. You will ensure the application of correct technical approaches and manage project delivery, including liaising with clients on fees and commercial matters, overseeing project execution, and managing teams to ensure efficient and successful project completion.

Is this role right for you?
We are looking for candidates who:
- Hold a BSc in Mechanical, HVAC, or Building Services Engineering or a related field.
- Have extensive experience in winning and delivering a range of projects.
- Can provide technical leadership to multi-disciplinary design teams, including external consultants.
- Have a strong awareness of sector-specific legislation, regulatory requirements, design guidance, and future trends.
