COWI is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with a Water Utilities background to join our UK MEP team. The role focuses on design of water supply and wastewater infrastructure and related equipment, with interactions across our global hubs.

You will develop design solutions, plan deliverables with the wider MEP group, and mentor junior engineers while coordinating multi-disciplinary activities. Hybrid working and UK project exposure are offered.

Qualificações

• A degree in mechanical engineering or similar.
• Achieved Chartered Engineer status (or equivalent).
• Relevant experience within mechanical systems design.
• The ability to provide technically sound solutions solo and as a discipline lead.
• Experience with water-based systems such as pressurised water supply mains, pumping stations and treatment works apparatus.

Responsabilidades

• Contributing towards the design of projects for a wide range of clients.
• Planning design work and deliverables with the MEP team.
• Development and technical assurance of design, including software use.
• Ensuring compliance with local and international standards.
• Coordination of multi-disciplinary aspects of projects.
• Mentoring junior team members in design.
• Building relationships with clients and stakeholders.
