Job summary

Envirogen Group is seeking a Senior Engineer to own the execution of capital water and wastewater projects in the UK. You will drive the design lifecycle from concept to field deployment, mentoring the engineering team and ensuring high-performance outcomes.

You will review P&IDs, drawings, and BOMs, lead complex hydraulic calculations, and collaborate with sales to prepare accurate estimates for proposals.

Qualifications

• Academic foundation in Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering.
• Proven track record in industrial water, wastewater, or fluid processes.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and self-directed work style.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design lifecycle for multi-million-pound treatment systems.
• Mentor and develop the core engineering team to high standards.
• Review and approve critical project documentation (P&IDs, drawings, BOM).
• Support cost, labour, and subcontractor estimates for proposals.
