Job summary

Envirogen Group is seeking a Senior Engineer to own the end-to-end lifecycle of multi-million-pound water and wastewater systems in the UK, with flexible hybrid or remote options considered.

You will lead system design, governance and vendor engagement, mentor the core engineering team, and work with projects and sales to deliver capital packages valued from £1M to £20M across UK and international markets.

Qualifications

• Academic Foundation: a BSc or BEng in Mechanical, Chemical or Civil Eng.
• Proven track record in industrial water, wastewater or fluid processes.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design of multi-million-pound treatment systems.
• Mentor and develop core engineering team for technical excellence.
• Governance: review and approve P&IDs, drawings, electrical schematics and BOM.
• Select high-performance equipment and prepare cost/proposal inputs.
• Drive vendor RFQs and data-driven procurement decisions.
• Collaborate with sales to support commercial proposals.
