Ramboll is seeking an Associate/Principal Mechanical Engineer for Data Centres in the UK. You will lead the mechanical design delivery, coordinate with electrical teams, and drive projects with minimal supervision while ensuring high levels of client care and technical quality.

The role focuses on cooling, ventilation, automation and control, with emphasis on building physics, CFD and sustainable design solutions.

Qualifications

• Qualified Engineer with proven track record in mechanical discipline.
• Experience with mission critical systems in datacentre or similar environments.
• Accredited honours degree or HNC with commitment to further education.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design delivery for datacentre projects.
• Coordinate with electrical teams and maintain client-facing engagement.
• Guide and check technical work of engineers; perform detailed design tasks as needed.
• Drive project delivery with initiative and minimal supervision.
• Use CAD/Bluebeam/BIM tools to develop solutions and calculations.
• Coordinate tasks and resources to meet deadlines.
