Job summary

Ramboll in the UK seeks an Associate/Principal Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical design delivery for innovative Datacentre projects. You will guide engineers, coordinate with electrical teams, and maintain excellent client service while shaping sustainable, resilient cooling and mechanical systems.

You will develop CFD-informed design solutions, collaborate across disciplines, and contribute to the technical delivery culture within Ramboll’s Buildings department.

Qualifications

• Qualified Engineer with proven track record in discipline.
• Experience with mission-critical systems in datacentre or similar industries.
• Towards IEng or CEng status.
• Strong communication and ability to simplify complex topics.
• Interest in or experience with digital and parametric design tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead Ramboll on Datacentre projects and manage engineers.
• Drive project delivery with minimal supervision.
• Use design production tools to develop solutions.
• Complete detailed designs and supervise others.
• Inspire confidence to strengthen client relationships.
• Commit to and manage project delivery timelines.
• Coordinate tasks as Mechanical lead and allocate resources.
