Job summary

Ramboll in the United Kingdom is seeking an Associate/Principal Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical design delivery for data centre projects. You will direct a team, coordinate closely with the electrical discipline, and take a client-facing role to ensure project success.

You will develop resilient cooling, ventilation, automation and control systems, while applying building physics, CFD and sustainable design principles to deliver high-quality outcomes for complex facilities.

Qualifications

• Qualified Engineer with proven track record in discipline
• Experience with mission critical systems in datacentre industry or similar
• IEng/CEng status in progress or achieved
• Strong communication and ability to simplify complex concepts

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical designs for Datacentre projects
• Coordinate with electrical counterpart and lead client-facing activities
• Develop and supervise detailed designs and guide engineers
