Job summary

CIBSE Journal seeks a Mechanical Design/Project Engineer to own project delivery, manage client relationships, and coordinate internal teams. You will forecast, design and deliver projects within budget while producing accurate tenders and ensuring timely invoicing.

The role requires strong project management, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to risk and compliance across multi-disciplinary projects in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Establish project requirements, delivery objectives, timelines, costs and commercials.
• Design projects to meet departmental outputs and KPIs.
• Manage projects to meet departmental outputs and KPIs.
• Produce quotations/tenders for complex projects with accurate specifications.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans and resourcing.
• Lead procurement and management of sub-contracted resources.
• Attend client meetings and present project updates to Directors.
• Ensure health & safety compliance across projects.
