Job summary

Rolls-Royce SMR Limited is seeking a Senior Systems Integration Engineer to lead cross‑discipline MBSE initiatives and the digital thread across the engineering organisation.

You will shape systems engineering frameworks, drive tool adoption (Polarion, Capella) and ensure traceability from requirements through to verification and assurance across the lifecycle in a hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Science or related technical field or equivalent experience.
• Significant experience applying Systems Engineering in a complex environment.
• Experience with Requirements Management and SE frameworks.
• Strong understanding of decomposition, traceability, verification and validation.
• MBSE approaches in practice and digital engineering tool adoption.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of Systems Engineering capability across people, processes, data and tools.
• Develop, improve and embed MBSE approaches across the organisation.
• Define and maintain frameworks linking needs, requirements, architectures and verification.
• Support integration of engineering information across MBSE and toolsets.
• Establish traceability, configuration management and information governance.
• Drive integration between SE tools (e.g., Polarion, Capella) and digital platforms.
• Translate requirements into scalable engineering processes and guidance.
• Lead stakeholder engagement for adoption of SE methods and tools.
• Facilitate workshops and collaborate to solve complex integration challenges.
• Deliver high‑impact work packages while managing risks and priorities.
• Coach engineers in SE methodologies and best practice.
• Drive continuous improvements in efficiency, data quality and consistency.
