Job Title

Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Reporting To

Engineering Manager

Job Purpose

Responsible for driving through new product & programme introduction and operational improvements through method & manufacturing improvement's to deliver continual business performance.

Key Role Accountabilities
  • Ensure that continuous improvement is driven through the business & that this becomes embedded as part of the day to day culture
  • Ability to embed any new method of manufacturing to deliver sustainable benefit to the business
  • Establish and maintain system policies associated with lead times for product
  • Ensure WIP is managed to meet all business requirements
  • Support manufacturing activities both internally & externally
  • Focal point for ensuring production & new product is completed as required
  • Participate & lead lean initiatives
  • Support inventory policies to include, FIFO inventory, returnable containers, WIP reduction
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety, ensuring guidelines are followed in accordance with the Company Health & Safety policy and legislative requirements.
  • Work in accordance with the company's policies and goals in order to ensure achievement of company goals and objectives.
  • Any other duties that may reasonably be required by the Company from time to time.
