Reed is seeking a Senior Manager (Accountancy Practice) in Canterbury for a 6-month fixed-term contract. You will manage a varied SME client portfolio, oversee handover from a departing Director, and provide strategic advice to clients while supporting the team.

The role requires ACA/ACCA and senior-level experience in practice, with a hands-on approach to ensure continuity of service during the transition period.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Significant experience in an accountancy practice.
• Senior Manager/Director level experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee a diverse SME/owner-managed client portfolio.
• Lead the transition and handover of client relationships from a departing Director.
• Primary client contact to maintain high service levels.
• Review statutory accounts, corporation tax returns, and management accounts.
