Job summary

Reed is seeking an Associate Director for a Kent-based accountancy practice. You will be a key member of the leadership team, managing a diverse client portfolio while driving growth and shaping the firm’s future.

You will mentor managers and junior staff, identify new business opportunities and ensure top-tier client service and compliance, with a clear route for progression in a flexible, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification is required.
• Experience leading a client portfolio in an accountancy practice.
• Strong leadership and mentoring ability with commercial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of SME, owner-managed, and corporate clients.
• Act as trusted advisor on commercial and financial matters.
• Lead and develop managers and junior team members.
• Identify business development and cross-selling opportunities.
• Support Partners in driving strategic initiatives.
• Maintain high standards of client service and compliance.
• Build long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.
