Job summary

Reed Specialist Recruitment is supporting a global organisation in Manchester City Centre to recruit a Financial Reporting Manager for a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role leads a remote finance team, overseeing month-end, quarter-end and year-end reporting, with strong emphasis on controls and compliance.

The ideal candidate is a practice-trained qualified accountant with audit experience, UK right to work, and immediate availability.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Audit experience is essential
• Ideally trained within a UK accountancy practice environment
• Proven Finance Manager experience within a complex business environment
• Experience working within a global organisation, ideally US-headquartered
• Experience managing and developing remote teams
• Recent and relevant UK finance experience
• Full right to work in the UK - sponsorship is not available
• Immediately available

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a remote finance team
• Oversee month-end, quarter-end and year-end reporting processes
• Ensure robust financial controls and compliance
• Manage balance sheet reviews and reconciliations
• Support statutory reporting and external audit requirements
• Partner with senior stakeholders across international markets
• Drive process improvement and reporting efficiencies
• Support ERP system enhancements and finance transformation initiatives
