Type: Full-time, Permanent

As a key SeniorManagement Accountant, you'll provide financial leadership across all three core companies in the Panicium Food Group:

  • Margaret Hall Limited (Margaret’s Country Kitchen) – bakery cakes, biscuits, tarts
  • Binghams Food Limited – specialist potted meats and spreads
  • The Bury Black Pudding Company – leading UK black pudding producer

You’ll help shape strategy and performance across this dynamic, artisan food group—delivering the cost insight, margin analysis, and financial rigor that underpin growth.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Drive cost and margin analysis across diverse product lines, brands, and channels
  • Lead group-wide budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  • Support ERP-integrated group reporting structure implementation
  • Offer commercial insight to enhance pricing, margins, and profitability
  • Identify and implement cost efficiencies and better finance-sales processes
  • Produce monthly management accounts, KPI dashboards, and performance reports
  • Partner with commercial and ops teams across all group companies
What We’re Looking For
  • Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
  • 5+ years’ experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, or fast-moving consumer products—where you’ve understood how cost of goods, margins, and P&Ls operate in high-volume environments. This is essential.
  • Strong commercial mindset capable of influencing beyond the numbers
  • Excellent Excel and financial analysis skills
  • ERP/reporting tool experience (e.g. Sage 200, Power BI) is beneficial, but not essential
  • A proactive, hands-on communicator who builds trust across functions
What You’ll Get
  • A senior, multi-brand role shaping financial performance across three artisan food businesses
  • Hybrid working flexibility (Bury office + remote)
  • Opportunity to build and enhance reporting systems and processes from scratch
  • Be part of a respected, expanding UK food group with a focus on quality and craftsmanship
  • Competitive salary and friendly team
  • Long-term progression as the group grows into a Group level role
