Job summary

Cairn is seeking an experienced Maintenance Officer to deliver a proactive service within the Maintenance Team, ensuring high standards in repairs and customer interactions.

The role involves supporting the Maintenance Manager, supervising contractors, managing void repairs, and delivering a consistent service aligned with policies and budgets. Strong governance and data reporting are essential.

Qualifications

• Educated to HND level or equivalent in property/asset management.
• Experience with stock condition data and asset management systems.
• Knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Support the Maintenance Manager in delivering repairs contracts on time and to a high standard.
• Supervise contractors and ensure safety, certification, quality and that final invoices reflect agreed costs.
• Deliver void repairs process.
• Oversee estate caretaker service tasks with quality control.
• Provide guidance on alterations or rechargeable repairs per policies.
• Foster partnership working to improve performance and consistency of service.
• Manage delivery of insurance works.
• Meet KPIs and service levels while complying with legislation.
• Manage data to report on repairs budgets and recoverable costs from third parties.
