Job summary

A consultancy supporting government clients is seeking a Senior M365 Engineer for an initial six-month contract with hybrid working in Milton Keynes. The ideal candidate will have an active security clearance and experience in providing third-line support for Microsoft 365 services including Exchange and SharePoint. Strong skills in Intune, Power Platform, and documentation are required. Agile and ITIL certifications are advantageous.

Digital Workspace: Senior M365 Engineer Application & Operations

Summer-Browning Associates is currently supporting our central government client, who is seeking a Senior M365 Engineer for an initial six-month assignment with the option to extend.

Location: Hybrid working - Milton Keynes

The ideal candidate will hold an active security clearance and possess a strong background in Digital Workspace MS 365 Applications & Operations engineering, with the following skills and experience:

• Demonstrated experience in providing third-line support for Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange, Defender, SharePoint, and Entra.
• Technical expertise in various software applications such as Intune, Power Platform (including Power Apps and Power BI), PowerShell scripting, and Purview Security.
• Solid practitioner-level knowledge of both hardware and software.
• A proven ability to develop clear and comprehensive technical and functional documentation.
• Familiarity with navigating public sector or defence secure environments effectively.
• Agile and ITIL Foundation level certification or equivalent
• Possession of a Microsoft role-based certification is highly advantageous.
