Fairmont St Andrews is seeking an experienced Senior Events Manager to join our luxury five-star resort's events team. You will lead planning and delivery of high-profile events, acting as second-in-command to the Director of Events and ensuring excellence across all stages from handover to execution.

This role focuses on developing the team, maintaining quality standards, and driving revenue through effective event management.

Formación

• Experience managing high-value, complex or large-scale events.
• Experience leading, mentoring or supporting an Events team.
• Experience in luxury hotel, resort or premium venue settings.

Responsabilidades

• Act as a senior point of contact for the team, providing guidance and direction.
• Manage a portfolio of high-value, complex events from handover through to execution.
• Oversee handover of confirmed business from Sales to Event Planning.
• Build trusted relationships with key clients and meeting planners as an expert partner.
• Support, coach and develop the team to maintain high standards.
• Review event documentation (BEOs, resumes, operational details) for accuracy.
• Collaborate with operational departments to ensure seamless event delivery.
• Provide leadership during major events, conferences and peak periods.
• Monitor contracts, deposits, room blocks, billing, attrition and final accounts.
• Apply revenue and yield management to maximise profitability across events.
• Support forecasting, budgeting and revenue reporting for the department.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and client experience.
