Job summary

Fairmont St Andrews in Scotland is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Operations Manager to lead the resort's F&B leadership team. You will partner with the Director of Food & Beverage to deliver exceptional guest experiences across restaurants, bars, events and golf-related outlets.

Qualifications

• Experience managing F&B operations in a high-volume hotel/resort environment.
• Ability to lead multiple outlets and support managers across departments.
• Hands-on, flexible approach with capacity to adapt quickly to priorities.
• Strong knowledge of F&B service standards and best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder relationships.
• Calm, organised and solutions-focused in a fast-paced setting.
• Commercial awareness including labour management, productivity and costs.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operation of all F&B outlets across the resort
• Work with Outlet Managers to ensure consistent service standards and guest experience
• Provide operational leadership during busy periods and events
• Provide management cover during annual leave or absence
• Support the Director of Food & Beverage with overall performance and strategic direction
• Act as a visible hands-on leader across the operation
• Support Outlet Managers with team performance, engagement, training and development
• Monitor service delivery and identify opportunities to improve guest journey
• Manage labour, productivity, stock, costs and departmental expenses
• Collaborate with Culinary, Events, Golf, Rooms and other departments for guest experience
• Depose for the Director of Food & Beverage when required
