A leading law firm in the UK is seeking a senior professional to take on responsibilities in leveraged finance, focusing on bespoke advice, client engagement, and deal strategy. Ideal candidates will have 7-8 years of PQE, experience managing transactions, and a strong background in a top-ranked leveraged finance team. Although not widely advertised, this is a strategic growth hire within a lean, high-performing team, often described as a boutique powerhouse in leveraged finance.
Ranked in both Legal 500 and Chambers, the team offers the opportunity to take on senior responsibilities and work on a strong pipeline of big-ticket leveraged and acquisition financings, private credit, syndicated loans, and large-cap refinancings. They\'ve carved out a niche advising banks, credit funds, and alternative lenders, and offer a one-stop-shop for both bank and bond aspects of financing.
The London office is deeply integrated with the firm\'s global network, regularly handling transactions across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. With one of the strongest dual-law capabilities across UK and U.S. financings, the team is widely recognised for delivering seamless execution on cross-border deals.
Despite a relatively small footprint, their model differs from larger US practices; it does not aim for scale, but instead focuses on high-value, complex mandates with deep partner engagement and bespoke advice. As one of the few Seniors in the team, you can benefit from direct client contact, high visibility and real influence on deal strategy, benefiting from long-term promotion.
