Financial Ombudsman Service in London Docklands is seeking a Senior Learning and Development Adviser. The role leads the design and delivery of high-impact L&D solutions, from concept through to evaluation, working with HR and senior stakeholders to align learning with organisational goals.

The Financial Ombudsman Service is an independent, not-for-profit organisation that plays a vital role in UK financial services. Every day we help resolve disputes between consumers, or small businesses, and their financial service providers.
You’ll lead the design and delivery of high-impact learning and development solutions, taking full ownership from concept through to evaluation. Working closely with HR and senior stakeholders, you’ll ensure learning strategies align with organisational goals, deliver leadership and organisation-wide programmes, and use data insights to drive decisions. You’ll also manage external partners, oversee corporate induction, and act as a key contact for complex queries and sponsorship requests. This role offers real influence and autonomy, where you’ll shape capability across the organisation. You’ll support colleagues to build skills, mentor L&D team members, and champion early careers programmes, all while driving a strong, inclusive learning culture.
