Job summary

The Collective Network Limited is seeking an Engineering Lead for a hands-on, leadership-focused role in a family-oriented food manufacturing site in the Midlands area. The position is Monday to Friday, on-site, with no weekends or bank holidays, offering up to £55,000 plus benefits.

You will lead a multi-skilled electrical and mechanical engineering team, drive improvements, manage PPMs, support projects and contractors, and push site performance through continuous improvement and OEE

Qualifications

• Multiskilled Electrical/Mechanical engineering background.
• Food/FMCG manufacturing experience preferred.
• Previous leadership/supervisory experience.
• Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.
• Essential: Boiler & Steam experience – confident with steam systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multi-skilled engineering team.
• Drive improvements and manage PPMs (planned preventive maintenance).
• Support projects and contractors to deliver site improvements.
• Help take the site's engineering performance to the next level.
