Job summary

Lead Engineer role at a well-established food manufacturing site in Scunthorpe. You’ll stay hands-on while beginning to lead, acting as the on-shift technical lead and mentoring other engineers.

Expect to tackle complex electrical and mechanical breakdowns, drive continuous improvement, improve reliability, and develop your own leadership skills as you grow with the team.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical bias with good mechanical knowledge.
• Solid maintenance engineering background.
• Experience in Food, FMCG or a similar manufacturing environment.
• Comfortable troubleshooting electrical faults and breakdowns.
• Ready to take the next step into a Lead Engineer position.

If you're an experienced Maintenance Engineer who is ready to take the next step, but don't fancy disappearing into an office all day, this could be worth a look.

We're looking for a Lead Engineer to join a well-established food manufacturing business in Scunthorpe.

You'll be around 90% hands-on, acting as the go-to engineer on shift and supporting the wider engineering team with more complex breakdowns, fault finding and continuous improvement.

The role
