Job summary
Emplyfy in Milton Keynes is seeking a Senior IT Technician to support a diverse portfolio of client environments. You will be the first technical contact, troubleshoot hardware, software and network incidents, and assist with projects and deployments in a fast-moving MSP setting.
The role requires five+ years of experience, practical knowledge of Cyber Essentials and GDPR, and hands-on experience with Intune, remote monitoring and Windows/Apple devices.
Qualifications
- Five or more years of relevant industry experience.
- Practical experience with Cyber Essentials controls and GDPR standards.
- Intune device management and remote monitoring tools.
- Strong networking background.
- Windows Server security and policy administration.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Experience supporting both Windows and Apple devices.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer support as the first point of technical contact.
- Resolve hardware, software and network-related incidents.
- Attend client premises for troubleshooting, upgrades and maintenance.
- Process and manage support tickets within agreed service levels.
- Keep stakeholders informed of progress and resolutions.
- Escalate urgent matters when necessary.
- Monitor customer systems and infrastructure health.
- Maintain technical records and documentation.
- Assist with planned projects and deployments.
- Respond to high-priority support requests.
